Our Nursery is fully subscribed for the 2026-2027 academic year. If you would like to add your child to the waiting list, please complete the form on the Expressions of Interest page. Please note that this does not guarantee a space.
If your child was born between 1st September 2023 and 31st August 2024, please complete the form on the Expressions of Interest page and we will allocate spaces for a September 2027 start. Spaces will be allocated using our criteria detailed below.
Watling Primary School Nursery is open for 38 weeks of the year in line with the main school term dates which can be viewed here.
Places in our Nursery will be allocated in the following order:
- Children taking up full time places who live in the school’s priority catchment area and have a sibling in the main school who is on roll at the time of admission
- Children taking up full time places who live in the school’s priority catchment area
- Children of staff who work at Watling Primary School
- Children taking up full time places who live outside the school’s catchment area and have a sibling in the main school who is on roll at the time of admission
- Children taking up full time places who live outside the school’s priority catchment area
- Children taking up part time places who live in the school’s priority catchment area and have a sibling in the main school who is on roll at the time of admission
- Children taking up part time places who live in the school’s priority catchment area
- Children taking up part time places who live outside the school’s catchment area and have a sibling in the main school who is on roll at the time of admission
- Children taking up part time places who live outside the school’s priority catchment area
- Any other children
Consideration for the allocation of places in our Nursery for children with any of the following will be considered outside of the above criteria:
- Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan
- Looked After Children
- Previously Looked After Children
- Children with a Child Arrangements Order or Special Guardianship Order
