We wanted to share with you a change to our Local School Board of Governors.
We are delighted to announce that Akhtar Jan has been appointed as our new Chair of Governors. Akhtar already knows Watling Primary School through her previous role as Chair of Governors at Denbigh School, who are also part of The Alliance Schools Trust. She brings with her a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to supporting our school community, and we look forward to working closely with her to continue driving our school forward.
At the same time, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to William Butler who has stepped down as Chair of Governors. Willi has been in this role since our school opened and has worked tirelessly to support our school in these important first years of opening. Although he has stepped down as Chair of Governors of our Local School Board, he will remain involved with our Trust in his role as Trustee. Willi’s leadership and support have been invaluable in helping us achieve many successes, and we are extremely thankful for the time and energy he has given to our school.
